Keeping it all Under Control + Fit Test Giveaway!

May 28, 2015 By Lauren 15 Comments

Today we are talking about the girls, the ladies, the upper deck flopper stopper, the over the shoulder boulder holder – you get the idea. We are talking about boobs and bras, more specifically sports bras.

title nine

Title Nine‘s Fitfest came at a great time for me. It’s been a crazy couple of months for me and working out sort of went out the window… I ended one job and started a new one (love it btw). My new job is down in Tigard, about 20 to drive. This is a big change for me as I used to walk to work. It takes me about 40 minutes to get home in the evenings and the last thing I want to do is head to the gym after that. So yes, basically, a bunch of excuses to miss the gym.

That’s why I was so thrilled to head into Title Nine for a bra fitting! New workout clothes always inspire me to hit the gym. Sports bras are HARD to shop for! Honestly, I have always gone with whatever was the most colorful at Target. I have to say I do love those sports bras, but they are the total “smasher” type. Yes, they work well. The girls aren’t going anywhere. But, they are not that comfortable for long periods of time and there is nothing flattering about trying to get those on and off.

So I went into this fitting with a couple things in mind. I wanted a new bra that was comfortable (duh) and for mid-level impact. I have enough “smashers” I needed something for hiking, yoga, pilates, and other studio classes.

bra fitting

Molly, from Title Nine, helped me find the perfect fit. She grabbed a bunch of super cute bras for me to try on. Most of their sports bras actually have a clasp in the back like normal bras. This takes the awkward bra removal dance out of the picture. Sold.

moving comfort

My perfect bra ended up being Moving Comfort’s Form First. It felt great! (Plus I love the pop of color!) There was enough support without being too tight and restricting. I am super excited to take it for a little test drive!

UPDATE
We have our winner! Congratulations Christi. She will be working with the Title Nine bravangelists to find her perfect fit.
And second update, it looks like the record for wall sits at Title Nine is actually over 25 minutes. Holy Cats, that’s a long time!

PS Did you know the Title Nine company record for wall sits is 8 minutes 14 seconds and the record for plank is 10 minutes! Holy Cats that’s a long time!

This is a sponsored post. I was invited to a media event which included a free bra, gifts, and a giveaway. All opinions are my own. I don’t share products that I don’t truly believe in and think you will enjoy them as well.

I cannot imagine being able to zone out long enough to do a wall sit that long. I love the look of those straps of the Form First Bra. Usually the fitness stuff I do (besides the normal 2-3 miles minimum I walk daily) is Zumba and during some of the dancing there is definitely a bunch of chest pumping so I need support!

Right? Maybe while watching TV or reading a good book?

That is a CUTE sports bra! I’m well accustomed to the awkward bra removal dance. ๐Ÿ™‚ I enjoy workout videos that I can do at home while my kids are sleeping or playing. I love hiking with the family and our dog, but we don’t do it near enough.

I am so in need of a new sports bra or 4. I’ve taken to doubling them up they’ve all lost so much elastic!
