I have seen some pretty impressive Instagram account lately.
There are a lot of attributes about Instagram that make it such a great platform. Unlike Facebook, users pick their very best photo to share instead of an album of 50 photos. It means people are spending more time thinking about their photo, shooting it, and editing it. Adding a caption is also way more important than photo captions on Facebook. It has to be funny, ironic, or timely. While some people shoot with a fancy camera and edit their photos, most use only a phone and editing apps. There is something so refreshing and authentic about that trend.
Here are some of my favorite Instagram users that have been killing it lately! Some are brands, some are bloggers, some are individuals and two are animals…
I have a soft spot for Ballet photos. All the photos on this account are absolutely beautiful and make me miss ballet so much.
Betsy & Iya
They may be a small business, but their Instagram account is big. For anyone with a small business, check out this account as inspiration. They do a fantastic job of showing off their product, their store, and behind-the-scenes shots.
The Uni cuff: aka what Wonder Woman would buy if she visited our shop. This brass cuff from You + Me, pt. 1 is a total power piece. Put it on and you’ll know exactly what we mean. The Uni spends time with three of our makers before it’s ready to be sent off into the world. It starts out with Shea, who we see annealing the metal, stamping it with our logo, and using both a hammer and his hands to shape it into a cuff. Then it’s off to Allison, who wears gloves while oxidizing the recessed line detail on the two inner sides of the cuff. Alyssa is in charge of the last few steps, including a quick shine on the polishing cabinet and a trip to finish in the tumbler. #youandmecollection #betsyandiya #makerMonday

Caroline Dignes Caroline Dignes is talented like waoh! She is an aerialist and an artist. Every one of her photos are inspirational not only for the amazing ways she can twist her body but for the incredible places she goes. Always a new rock or a new mountain to hang off of.
There are a million food bloggers out there, but I have really enjoyed.
Biddy the Hedge Hog This is an easy one. Who doesn’t love a Hedge Hog!
Rusty Rodas I want this dog! I can’t believe he is so well behaved that he will pose for these ridiculous photos wearing hats, sweaters, sometimes a cookie on his nose. So great.

San Diego Zoo
The zoo has endless opportunities to photograph cute baby animals it’s almost not fair. Of cours, a photo of a baby panda can get 10,000 likes and 3,000 comments. Everything they shoot is really high-quality and I have learned a lot about animals since I started following this account. Cute and educational. Bonus points.
Do you have any Instagram crushes you would add to this list? I love finding new people to follow! And, of course, check out my Instagram account if you haven’t already! Because I love Instagram.
