Valentine’s Day continued into Saturday morning with some delicious heart-shaped pancakes. My parents sent Cody and I a Valentine’s Day gift box filled with everything we would need for a delicious breakfast: pink pancakes, red velvet hot chocolate mix, heart shaped marshmallows, strawberry syrup. Isn’t my mom the cutest!
Making heart shaped pancakes is way harder than I thought it would be. The batter spreads across the pan in odd shapes. It’s a good thing that shape doesn’t effect the taste because my pancakes were a mess.
I had way more actually making them then actually eating them. Here is my one successful pancake:
The cookie cutter method worked pretty well but it made small pancakes and took extra work to get it out the cutter.
I suppose I should stick with circle pancakes.

So cute. Looks like lots of fun. The cookie cutter was a great idea. Cook an egg in the cookie cutter? It would probably never come out.

Thanks! 🙂
I bet an egg would work too. You would just need a lot of pam.
